1. DRAINAGE

Stringent rules. Rules must be followed strictly first of all. Lies in the hands of supervisors.

All drainages be made at least in closed pipes. Insects are main vectors to be controlled. So underground pipelines must be installed.

Private investment in waste managerial. Allow the private to bring in new technologies and investment.

Reusing homes drainage lowers volume. For example, those who have space can construct tanks to store bathwater and recycle.

2. LITTER

Already govt. is in good pace in mains. Go to chennai and it will be perfect in important areas. Interior ones needs to be touched more.

Penalising-authorities in public. For example, in bustand. Authorities must check the careless throwing away of litter. And those who beg. They must be rehabilitated.

Boost to bring own bags to shops. Increasingly and gradually press shop owners to ask customers to bring own bags and set a deadline.

Govt. Recycling facilities. Municipalities to squeeze and save funds for some time to set recycling facilities up..

3. CHLORINATION

Engineers decide apt dose for a volume. Municipal staffs are unaware of wrong concentration chlorination.

Rainwater home harvest compulsory. There's already a law which is, of course, dormant. Have to be revitalized. Incentives may be given as encouragement.

Govt. home waste water recycling plant. Expense on installing pipes be ignored to collect home sewage from selected areas and process it at a municipal space and use it in parks to water plants in park and road side trees.

Recycled water in washes, gardens. Encouragement is all. Private organizations and movements must be motivated in setting up campaign.

4. OPEN DEFACEATION

Already awareness prog. active. There came at a time series of advertisements from govt. about essence of toilets. Have to be restarted.

'Build Toilet' initiative for slums. Instead of unnecessary freebies, free toilets must be built for poor suburban people at first.

After a deadline, punish. If necessary, it mustn't be hesitated to enact a law in this direction if it will speedify the process.

Give instructions at panchayat level. As far as I know, panchayats are the most inactive units. Give them work. Load VAO to implement.

5. EDUCATING CLEANLINESS

Include lessons at all stages of school education. It all starts at school level. Instill cleanliness in the minds of youth as an absolute essence.

Stress the vitality of it to public.
Stress students to keep their own campuses clean by themselves. It must be made mandatory to students to keep their school premises basically clean.

6. SURVEY
Bring every water body in record. It already is. But setting on a new mission will make things go more systematic and speedy and cleaner.

Cut down all water body encroachments. Without mercy. Only the poor and otherwise landless can be given a considerment.

Give them alternative land. If available, give unused govt. lands on the condition of anytime evacuation.

Divide all lands into cultivable and industrial ones. And never ever allow use of unpermitted lands for unpermitted purpose. This too, already is. But give it another try.

9. PLANNING LEVEL

All plans must be 'planned' at corporation level. Plans must be planned not at central level but must be given in the hands of mayors.

And it all will end. Plus the quota system. Enough. They can be stopped.
