Anti-BJP if raised concerns over intolerance? The recent course of writers returning their awards and eminent scientists condemning the rising intolerance in the nation sends bad signals into the international arena which the Modi led Centre refuses to care and address and its members are even criticising the carers. PM Modi attends functions, addresses in public meetings totally unrelated to thisabyss. Arun Jaitley remarks it "manufactured rebel" and "anti-bjp". All these disgrace the writers who contribute to their motherland via writings. Scientists are humiliated after all their dedication to serve the country. The government should really take responsibility for the failure to address the rising intolerance and inability to maintain peace in society. The problem is not Hinduism. It's Hindutva which is making issues here. BJP is really seaming to advocate and promote hinditva by just leaving it and let it grow. The issue gets international attraction just because the intellectuals here are standing up. The BJP itself is a mistake here in India. It is completely unacceptable to have a religious head in a pluralist democracy. The image of India will tarnish in the world stage and international media are already scrutinizing us in these happenings. And what makes the situation more intense is, we are receiving protest from not just writers and scientists but also from naval officers. What is RSS, a religious movement, doing there in the discussion about national issues within ministers elected by the people? This is the final question.. Should India appear as a country with civil conflicts for religions after being admired for its pluralist democracy and its "unity in diversity"?
